Why do teens make negative decisions when they are with their close friends? The article " Teenagers, Good friends, and negative decisions” simply by Tara Parker-Pope informs and explains why teens produce bad decisions. Also in the novel " Tears of your Tiger” Sharon B. Draper gives samples of how teenagers have positive and adverse behaviors. Emotions and emotions could at times be the main reason they react either good or bad. Teenagers have many reasons why that they behave the way they do. Teenagers should stop trying to impress their friends getting into unnecessary Teenagers make poor decisions mostly in front of their very own friends. To begin, in the article " Teens, friends, and bad decisions”, by Defecto Parker-Pope that states that teenagers crossed 40% even more yellow lamps and got into 60% more car accidents when their close friends were observing. Brain study shows that teens misbehave even more when all their friends will be watching. According to the article, " … teen peer pressure has a special effect on human brain signals involving risk and reward… young adults are most likely to misbehave and take hazards when their friends happen to be watching. ” this is significant to all young adults out there so that they can know what impact takes actions when they perform silly dangerous things to impress their friends. According to the novel " Tears of a Tiger” Andy Jackson, the main figure, was ingesting and traveling until he killed Robbie Washington (His best friend) in a car crash. Teenagers have positive and negative behaviours. First, there are some teenagers who also are good at school and are very well behaved which is a positive habit that teenagers have sometimes.
