As foodstuff transnational companies become increasingly powerful, governments have a responsibility to ensure that their organization activities you don't have a negative influence on the right to food. Regulation takes place in general at a nationwide level in the country where the firm is functioning. What is currently missing is a global regulatory program capable of holding transnational corporations to account through new or reformed worldwide institutions.
